Session I – AI Ethics in Healthcare
This session invites participants to analyze the use of artificial intelligence I healthcare considering the CCMC Code of Professional Conduct and the four principles approach to medical ethics. The four principles approach, developed by Beauchamp and Childress in their book the Principles of Biomedical Ethics, is prominently featured in the CCMC Code of Professional Conduct. Participants will learn how AI is being deployed in healthcare and will be invited to ethically analyze its use considering how it affects the overall wellbeing of patients.
